On Tuesday at 11:06 a.m. an updated high wind warning was issued by the National Weather Service valid from 10 p.m. until Wednesday 4 p.m. for Klamath Basin, Northern and Eastern Klamath County and Western Lake County and Central and Eastern Lake County.
IF some of the stronger wind forecasts are correct, this will be a devastating wind storm in the Willamette Valley and at least parts of Portland metro area. We’ll hope that’s not the case
High wind warning for Northern California until early Wednesday morning – winds gusting up to 65 mph
Northern California is included in a high wind warning released by the National Weather Service on Tuesday at 12:55 p.m. The warning is valid from 4 p.m. until Wednesday Dec. 24, at 4 a.m.
Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont blasted the Trump administration’s order halting work on offshore wind projects, saying it will undermine attempts to lower power bills.
Vineyard Wind, being staged in New Bedford, is one of 5 offshore projects put on pause. Mayor Mitchell said hundreds of jobs are at stake.
Yosemite is under a wind advisory which was released by the National Weather Service on Monday at 7:01 p.m. The advisory is valid from Tuesday 4 p.m. until Thursday Dec. 25, at 4 p.m.
